We have retired from breeding, and no longer have upcoming litters or puppies available. We are keeping this page as a record of our breeding program and the dogs who made it what it was — and because the philosophy behind how we bred is still useful to anyone raising a puppy naturally today.
Our Breeding Philosophy
All of our litters were raised holistically, just like the rest of our dogs. We did not dock tails (the traditional Poodle breed standard) — instead we groomed our Poodles to look much like a Goldendoodle.
We placed real weight on genetic diversity, including breeding for the Parti coat gene — a two-color coat pattern (in our case, chocolate/white or black/white litters). We saw it as a valuable part of a holistic approach to breeding, alongside temperament.
Above all, we matched puppies to their forever families based primarily on temperament, not coat color. We understood families often had strong, legitimate preferences about color, and tried to work with that — but we would not place a puppy with an incompatible family simply because of her color.
The Dogs Behind Our Program
Stella, our F1 Goldendoodle, was herself one of our own puppies, born from Buttercup. She lived with her own amazing forever family, and went on to have litters of her own with exactly the temperament we hoped to see continue.
Ziggy, our Standard Parti Poodle stud, came to us from Hawaii. Beyond his striking Parti coat and the genetic diversity he brought to our litters, he had a wonderful temperament — he grew up with an eight-year-old girl as his best friend, and adored children in our own family too. He was exactly the kind of temperament we wanted to send home with our puppies.
Coconut, an F1 Goldendoodle, and Jasmine, a chocolate Parti Standard Poodle, rounded out our program. We encouraged families with severe allergies to take the time to meet our Poodles specifically, to see if that coat type was the better fit.
